Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop components and assemblies for road-making equipment, trailers, trucks, or other automotive applications.
• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and procurement to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Apply knowledge of weldments and fabrication design to produce robust and production-ready solutions.
• Conduct design reviews, tolerance analysis, and support prototype development and testing.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to industry standards and company design protocols.
  

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Master’s degree (U.S.) with 2 years of relevant design experience (either post-Bachelor’s or post-Master’s), or
• Bachelor’s degree (U.S.) with 3–5 years of design experience in relevant industries.

Experience:

• Hands-on experience in mechanical design within road-making, road maintenance, trailer, truck, or automotive industries.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drafting.
• Strong understanding of weldments and fabrication design principles.
